There are some major changes in character rankings in this new one, with some very surprising results. Hakan is a Turkish oil wrestler, though he seems to be Turkish in name only as I don&#39;t see many similarities. <p><img src="http://www.thekoalition.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/12/Super-Street-Fighter-IV-Officially-Revealed.jpg"></p> <p>I&#39;m thinking about doing a little tournament for Super Street Fighter IV which will also involve some simple prizes such as Microsoft Point cards for the first and second place winners. The winner can get 4200 points, and the runner-up can receive 2100. I want to do this tournament when my PC is fixed though, I&#39;ll sit out and organise everything, not to mention record every match as a spectator just so we can look back and laugh.</p> <p>So, before I start giving this any more thought I&#39;d like to get an estimate on who does and doesn&#39;t plan on picking SSF4 up. Just post here letting me know if you&#39;ve pre-ordered it, if you plan to pick it up in-store when it comes out, or if you have no interest in the game. This is fine, and if you&#39;ve decided on this because you don&#39;t have any time to spare until Super&#39;s launch, it&#39;s an understandable strategy. Otherwise, it&#39;s not such a great strategy.</p> <p>If you got into Call of Duty 4 late, you would be at a disadvantage because players have learned the maps, mastered their favourite weapons and prestiged. So you would decide to not bother with COD4 until Modern Warfare 2, where there are new maps, new weapons and everyone starts from LV1.</p> <p>However, this kind of thinking is not wise when looking at fighting games. You don&#39;t learn maps in fighting games, you just learn how to use the characters. Now SSF4 has all the characters from SF4, plus ten new ones. If you pick up SSF4 without playing SF4, you have a lot more characters to master. If you&#39;re already familiar with SF4, you just need to master the ten new characters, not the entire roster.</p> <p>SSF4 is mostly just a patch to further balance the game, there isn&#39;t going to be any major gameplay changes and characters aren&#39;t having any attacks removed. Also, we can finally have groups in a room with winner stays on. That was my favourite thing about HD Remix, since it was a great way to socialise, pick up new tips and enjoy the game all at the same time. </p>
