i thought i'll put up a topic of this game, since it's only a week left. also i'm not going to pre order it. becuse there is a competition on wednsday in stockholms biggest game shop. the 10 first peopel waiting outside with the best military outfit will have the game for free, and number 1 gets special edition.

Interesting competition, be sure to take some photos of any cool costumes you see. I've got mine pre-ordered and will be playing it when ever I'm not playing Final Fantasy XIII which also comes out next month.
I get the feeling I'll try and switch weapons around to make some kind of hybrid spec-ops class for myself. I may stay away from short-range weapons though, since the majority of combat is outside and even when you're indoors, people just huff, and puff, and blow your house down.
I'll most likely be using C4 a lot though, as they are great for laying traps on objectives and also double as anti-tank tools. As long as you got an Assault player in your team who can help you replenish C4s as you use then, it's all good.
I'll either be playing Medic or Sniper, and I don't intend to do much sniping with my sniper class. I mainly want it for the motion sensor, the C4 and the gillie suit. Pistols are crazy powerful in this game so I can use that sniper class effectively at long and close range if I practice a little.
Oh yeah, at the moment I'm planning to completely ignore the singleplayer and just play multiplayer straight off the bat. I don't buy Battlefield games to play singleplayer, so not going to waste my time on it unless it's genuinely good, which I doubt.

MemberMaybe it was just in the beta, but you can't replenish your c4's or rpgs. I'm gonna be rolling as a engineer so I can rank up quickly thanks to noobs, but also cause I like being up close and personal. Later on in the game I mite roll as a sniper since I always liked the aspect of sniping in any game I've played.

MemberI wish I could play a spec ops class like in BF2 and BF2142. I enjoy laying C4 on a road then hiding and waiting for a tank or troops to walk past. I saw I can use C4 in a assault class with a shotgun so I may try that out but most of the time the shotgun wont do shit. Will have to see what else I can unlock.
I will play mostily as a Engineer as blowing up tanks is fun and also an assault as some times I just want to kill people.
I do like the Medic guns but I normally just die as I run out into the open trying to save people.
In the demo the assault's ammo did replenish my RPGs not sure about C4.Posted 1 year ago # | -

For me i prefer playing either medic or soldier. From what you guys have said i think i will have to be the medic, i like the medic since he got massive firpower against infantry, AND he can heal and revive team mates. BTW have any one else seen the huge posters in the subways? i saw a huge poster of BC2 and it said "made in stockholm" and stockholm was on fire ^^

I only ever use the knife to break through fences and shit, not for actual combat. Oh ho-ho-ho, why use a knife when you have a godly pistol in the game? That pistol has rape damage.

Member[list]okej, now i'am back, with two special edition of BFBC2 , pc and xbox360 version! There were alot of stuff they gave away. Dice gave me autograph, on both the game and a poster i also got my hands on! I also got the badcompany grenade with a smiley on :D ! i got on 3rd place on the tournument against dice. I won a keyboard and a mouse for the comp.
And if that weren't i also got a very rare BFBC2 copy becuse they gave out 8 more then just 10 games. This one have DICE been playing on while the game was being realesed. So on my computer account of BFBC i got every single weapon and perk there is. Kinda boring but i got it from the begining. So it was a succesful release day!
OBTW i have no idee how to upload the pics directly from the comp, so nemphis help me so i can show you this awsome day!

I think best way to upload photos in a batch is going to be using Flickr.com but you need to register an account first. Then just link us to your Flickr gallery or something.

Walking into McDonald's in a ghillie suit. I'm surprised nobody called the cops as soon as they saw you guys. So are you the one in the ghillie suit? If so, that photo in McDonald's actually looks pretty sick. You should take photos in unexpected public places wearing your ghillie suit for lulz.

Yeah, during the demo I was mostly a medic because they were underused, extremely useful and actually quite deadly. Those LMGs have little recoil, high magazine capacity and decent damage. I will most probably use a medic class on this game whenever I'm not messing around on SF4.

MemberBeen playing as Recon, although using the M1 Carbine so not sniping. Just unlocked the VSS. God it rocks. 3-4 bullets kills. 20 Round magazine. Full Auto, easy to burst and easy to single shot. Very accurate. I slap the 4X scope on it and go squad support.
It eats ammo fast but if you either have a competent assult on your team not a problem, or you could just take the assult kit of a dead guy, toss an ammo box then swap back. Tis a beast up close too.
Just had a round of Rush on the snow map with no tanks, the one where the final base is the sub pen. 4.5k points using it.

MemberThat is great news. The most fun I have in BF games is hiding and planting C4. I just love planting C4 and waiting for a tank or even better a full APC to drive past.
I remember in the demo we where having problems planting a demo charge at one of the points in a building. Think its the second set of bases.
After running in and dying I saw that all the enemy where camped against one wall. So I respawned with c4 and went and planted it all over the outside of the wall. BOOM wall gone and withit 3 enemy soliders.Posted 1 year ago # | -

MemberHaha, nice trick =). I find that the Recon class has the best chance of killing buildings thanks to their gear, C4 is more effective than Mortors but obvousioly you need to get up close.
I also am under the impression that one of the specilizations you can take allows you to double the amount of C4/Engineer rockets you can carry. If I'm right 6 C4s will be mighty fine fun ^^.
