All I had heard about this game was that Jack Black was voicing the main hero. So I saw it on xbox market place and I downloaded it. I thought it was awesome.
It is a 3rd person action game set in a crazy metal world which reminded me of metalocalypse (if you havent seen this show and you are a metal fan you fail). I found the dialogue to be pretty damn funny and I love the whole metal universe. The action is pretty normal, A for Close combat strikes, B block,X range attacks.
So please download the demo and tell me want you think.

I've been following Brutal Legend for a while now, not because I'm a big Metal fan but simply because the game was looking more and more interesting as it came closer to release. I've not checked the demo out yet but I'm expecting a positive experience when I do, and looking forward to trying the multiplayer since the gameplay videos made it look quite crazy.

I played the demo a few days ago and thought it was quite enjoyable. There doesn't seem to be much skill involved, but these kind of action adventure games rarely do pose a legitimate challenge. Even in God of War, it ultimately comes down to learning attack patterns and what moves are effective again specific enemy types. That being said, the humour and the whackyness of the adventure really appealed to me. I definitely want to rent this and give it a play through just to have a laugh.

This will make a totally awesome rental, assuming you can get your hands on it any time soon. The only thing that sucks about LoveFilm rentals is that popular games are always taken until they get crusty old and everyone else has played it.

MemberI got luckey according to my lovefilm there is no wait for brutal legend. So I put it in its own list so they had to send that one,and according to my emails it was sent out today. Although royal mail goes on strike tomorrow till friday so wont get it till monday I guess.
