Yeah, shame my PC is dead so you won't see anything from me for a while. However, unlike Zetzio, I'm not the only guy contributing so you'll see lots of content on a regular basis regardless of my activity.

Check out my comment on Chris' MW2 review, I dropped my two cents on the whole "No Russian" fiasco. Does anyone agree with me on those points? That mission was irritating for all the wrong reasons.

MemberI hated that mission it would have been much better if I was just me in the airport so I could get some kills.
There is a great bit where one of the guys looks over the ledge and mows down a massive crowd- why could I do that.
I agree with the outrage bit in GTA I would just drive on the pavement mowing down people or just shooting them to get teh cops on me and nobody cared.Posted 2 years ago # | -

3. i couldent rate a game on my profile and when i wanted to upload a picture to the game the website crashed1. DamnLag consists mostly of ex-Xbox Focus staff. The owner of Xbox Focus, which was the News Editor at, sold the website to another company so that he could work on his new idea; DamnLag. Nobody from Zetzio aside from myself is a member of staff at DamnLag.
2. DamnLag is best described as a combination of Digg.com and Facebook. DamnLag staff provide the basic content you would look for in a gaming site, such as news, reviews, columns, podcasts and so on. However the majority of our content will be user generated, if you write a review for Modern Warfare 2 and people like it, then that review will hit the front page after getting X amount of positive votes.
There is also the social networking aspect such as adding friends to your profile, discussing matters via the 'Boards' feature, instant messaging friends through the live chat system and so on. We're adding more features soon, such as a 'Wall' similar to Facebook's on everyone's profile, and a few other neat suggestions that were provided by the community.
3. The games list isn't working yet, it's one of the main things that we need to fix. So just leave that alone for the time being, we'll post an update when we fix it.

Must have been temporary downtime because it's working fine for me right now. The coding guys are trying to fix the bugs being reported so that may be why. Check my post again, you should be able to see a 'badge' that can be embedded to your blogs and shit, or posted in your forum signatures. I doubt any of you will use it much, but the badges were my idea so I wanted to show it to you guys.

You probably did, but we had to reset all the registration data before launch.
It's off to a good start, but I am just a glorified user until my PC is fixed and I can start writing content for them. The way DamnLag gets money from ads is great, wish I could score a deal like that.
They get paid per visit, regardless of the ads being clicked or not. As long as people are visiting the site, we're getting money. We also get bonuses if our articles get front page on sites like Digg, because that alone brings us thousands of extra visitors in a week.
