Only me and George have this game so this might as well just be a question to George. As the topic title obviously states, what your favourite weapon type in the game and why?
When I first bought the game I mainly used close combat weapons such as Acacia assault rifles and shotguns. I also loved using grenade launchers for the massive damage they unleashed, they worked well in close combat because my proximity to the enemy meant that the slow bullet velocity wasn't an issue, all I had to worry about was being too close for the blast radius to damage me.
Nowadays I've moved to sniper canons and machine guns mainly, whilst still using rifles and assault rifles from time to time. I don't use the snipers for long range combat much to be honest, it's mainly for close to medium range stun shots since the bullets travel fast and pack a good punch. The machine guns are usually on my snipers to counter anyone who thinks that close combat is my weakness.
