   E3 09: Gameplay Showcase

   As a Racing game fan, Forza 3 will be massive. Especially now that the game includes an in-car view, better damage psychics, with the possibility of cars rolling, and the all new video editing mode.

   Forza already has a strong community of photographers, tuners and painters. The video edit mode will just add another dimension to the game and it's community.

   I don't expect many people to be massively interested in the game, as I believe that I'm the only one that even still plays Forza 2. Forza 3 is one of my most anticipated games along with Arkham Asylum.

   I thought Forza 2 was an excellent racing sim, basically Microsoft's answer to Gran Turismo. I'm looking forward to FM3 as well, though I'm not a massive racing fan, I do love to dabble in every genre and this is definitely one of the genre's best franchises in my eyes. Most of the tuning options still don't make sense to me, it's a lot like Armored Core in the way it's confusing at first to figure out what all the options do, but the more you learn the deeper it gets.

   The past few weeks I've really been getting into the tuning side of the game and lurking on tuning forums to get the hang of it. It's really opened up a whole new side of the game too me. Sometimes I find myself spending hours on a track just trying to improve my car by a few seconds.

   I've got some cash set aside for my next big purchase, and I'm really considering getting one of those racing seats with the mounted TV, steering wheel, gear lever and foot pedals, for the release of this game, and the next Gran Turismo. Oh, temptation...
