Didn't bother searching if there was a topic on this.
Anyway, my dads just gotten one and i've been testing it out to see if i want to get one also. And i definatly do now, without a doubt. Apart from the ability to video record (although i havn't fully checked it out or queried it online), It has all the options of my old phone. So for those people who say it has too many media functions and not enough 'phone' functions.. that's ball. It does everything you need it to. Plus, of course, full internet access (and with such a large screen, it actually feels real, not like the cheap Vodafone live you can get on other phones) Application downloads, games, etc etc.
But what i've found best of all so far; is how easy it is to get your own movies and videos onto it.
E.G, i downloaded Bleach episode 190 from bleachportal.net. Then i found an insanely quick and free Itunes converter online called Videora, and within about 10 minutes the entire bleach episode had been converted and put onto the iPhone.
The quality is amazing, infact i could swear the quality of the program on the Iphones screen is even better than when i watch it with RealPlayer on the PC.
I mean imagine having this baby on a long travel. Download some of your anime you havn't watched yet, and then watch it on the train. Or use Videora to convert any DVD you have onto it also; anything to pass the time.
The games are good also - the quality and capacity of the iPhone is even better than a PSP or DS. The only difference and why PSP/DS are still superior, is because the iPhone aint got squat for good games yet. The second they bring out something decent on it, it'll be even better.
Oh, and obviously, it has Itunes in it, so it'll work just as good as any iPod you got. And with 16GB it'll probably hold most of your songs. And with iTuners + Youtube downloader, if your a rich bitch like me, it's fun to download new songs and videos.
So, i'm sold , and i'll probably be getting one around christmas time. Anyone else interested in them?
