We had a topic for this on the Edge forums, and after just reading a new preview for the game i thought 'd restart it here.

I can't wait for this game. The hours of acting the game out on Halo with Diablo, will become real. I like the sound of the rural level it talks about.
Graphically the game doesn't look that great but the concept is exciting. This is basically going to be like Halo 3 co-op on Legendary against the Flood!
Just reviving this topic to let everyone know that Steam has a new weekend sale where they have reduced Left 4 Dead's price by 50%. The game is now £13.49 at the Steam store for a short period of time so if you're like me and haven't bought it yet, now is a good time.
Yeah, the first pack will be free which is always nice.
Yeah, I removed the film grain effect in the options and personally I think it looks better now.
I'd love to help you Chris but I bought the game on PC since I wanted to take advantage of any future mods for the game. I'm glad I made that decision though since getting headshots on Zombies is a lot easier on PC which makes things more enjoyable for me.
What I learned from Left 4 Dead, pretty funny.
