    Muss - Well, my only answer for that would be cause play.com/game.co.uk get large advertising. You don't see any adverts for shopto anywhere so i imagine thats why not alot of people know about it. Anyway yeah, to each his own. This will probably come and bite me in the ass when they get it to me 3 days late or some shit.

    George - yeah i was gonna say, release date is the 10th, a tuesday, which would suck for me cause i go to my dads on that day and i have a haircut appointment. So that's why i hope i get it a day early really. And also - when you get a game as big as this on release day, there's that adrenaline rush that kicks in to instantly jump on the MP and start racking up kill streaks and learning all the best spots on the maps, before all you're mates do. This is kinda annoying for me when i get it; cause i love to do the campaign first. So if i get the game a day early, i can finish the campaign first and then do the MP when everyone else gets it.

    Jamie - SUCK U MOUUFFFFFAAAAAAAAAA!

    Can't wait for some MW2 BITCHES!

    From the looks of it Michael, I'll probably get my copy on Tuesday so maybe you can say 'I told you so'. Either way, not long left now and I can't wait to play through the singleplayer, check out the Special Ops missions with some friends and experiment with the multiplayer perks.

    Yea it seems with the companys use couriers that we will only get it on teh day of release.When they use royal mail they send it around 4 days early to make sure and it never takes 4 days if you use first class but with couriers they can send it the day before the date as they know it will still get there.
    So yea I bet we all play on tuesday.

    Are we gonna ahve to sign for delivery with couriers? I friggin hope not as i'll be at college. Or fingers crossed, the ear infection i have stays around for next week, so I can have the week of.

    Yes you have to sign for couriers. It does not have to be you it just has to be someone at your house. Not sure what couriers do if you are not in, do they just take it back and send it the next day ?
    Lucky I have reading week or I would be in lectures that morning and miss it.

    According to play my order is being packed.

    Edit: just found in off line MP so split screen you can make your own classes which is good if you play that sometimes with mates.

    Nobody will be in at my house next Tuesday. Unless they deliver it before around 10.30 AM, in which case I can sign for it. Last time I had a courier delivery it was my Xbox being sent back, and then they left it with a neighbour. But then I had to wait till about 8pm for my neighbour to get in.

    I think, if a courier can't find anyone to sign for the package, they take it back to their depot. Depending on which courier it is, it could be friggin miles to get to the depot, last time it was out in Mansfield, which is a 2 hour drive.

    I suppose if its really far away you can phone and ask for a redelivery but then you going to have to wait another day. That is the one bad thing about couriers. I remember waiting all day for a courier and he never came. I checked my emails and it said it had been given my neighbour. He must have come at that 5 mins I went out to quickly grab a sandwich I wasted a whole day waiting.

    Just watching the live stream that Matthew posted. Its getting me so buzzed. Wonder how long he'll keep it up?

    The Special Ops mode looks like great fun, I can see myself playing it for hours.

    Edit: The Riot Shield is looking awesome, takes me back to RSV days. Also, joke times on the stream, bitch got crushed by his care package.

    A mate lent me £50 so I placed on order on Play so I will get it on release day! Also while I was in Gamestation they recived their MW2 Shipment, and opened it up on the counter. The manager had a little fun by tossing one copy into the bin which made us all laugh. Also it would appear to be Gameplay company policy that their staff arn't allowed to grab their copies of MW2 early, despite being allowed to do so with every other game.

    Wow! Fucking WOW! Just finished the game, I developed a new respect for Infinity Ward and how future games should be developed. This game blows any multimillion blockbuster thriller, action movie I've watched since age of 6. This game raises bar for all the game developers, no matter if its a fps or rpg game, future game releases either should raise the bar higher or be at the same level as IW.

    MW 2 sparked my passion for game development again. Trust me, the single player will blow you away, you'll be jizzing all over your walls.

    Well i'm into the part where Russia is Invading and for
    me nothing has stood out as amazing over than the moment you ran through the streets of brazil
    with no gun to get to the choppa, and the airport massacre. Ski mobile was fun
    but nothing as of yet has been groundbreaking for me. MP is the same as cod4 but new maps, perks, guns and killstreaks. That said, nothing more was expected and the game still kicks ass.

    I've just beat Wetwork and Wardriving Special Ops solo to get my last two achivments, so I now have 1000/1000 for MW2. I've really enjoyed spec ops, some great stuff in there.

    I've not even played Spec Ops properly as I've been trying to milk the multiplayer in my spare time. I've done a bunch of missions on Regular but that's about it. Me and Jamie messed about on it briefly but he kept disconnecting so that didn't last long.

    Been playing some of the spec ops with my mate and they are pretty fun. Have done a few on vet but I find them boring to do on my own when I have to kill like 60 people. I keep failing that estate level. Did it a few days ago with my mate we kill all but one guy then we both got stuck in the house with a juggernaut which killed us both.
    I did like the one where you had to defend the Gas station or the one in the sub base although the sub on even on Vet is so easy thanks to the predator drone.

    Been getting bored of the MP so been trying to finish all the spec ops, although not a fan of timed ones.

    You're already bored of the multiplayer? Jesus, I'm LV70 and have only ever played Free-For-All, Mercenary Team Deathmatch and Search & Destroy, yet I'm far from bored since there's so much to master in the maps and weapons.

    BF:BC2 does look good, hope they fix the lag that all EA games have. Also the controls and shooting where pretty clunky in the first BC.

    I not really bored of COD MW2 its still fun its just I sort of played a bit to much at the start so taking a rest. No idea how some of you can play so much of it in such a short time.

    I'm pretty bored with all of my games at the moment. Looking forward to Xmas and the likes and L4D2, Dragon Age, Forza 3 and Assasins Creed 2.
