Right I need help choosing a Space Marine chapter. I have quite a few marine models as most people do and I want to actually get them finished and out of the way.
So far I have tried painting Flesh Tearers and White scars and none have really taken my fancy either because of the scheme or fluff/theme.
So have had a few ideas.
My main theme I want is religion and knights. i will use the Black Templar codex but they dont have to be templars.
These marines will worship the Emperors as a God and will be adored with a large amount of scrolls,seals, angel servitors,banners etc. Thinking of use those new angel BA for jumppack troopers.
What I need is a scheme, and this is the really problem.
I have come up with two ideas but need a some help.
Here is my first one:
The armour of each marine will have text on it, I am thinking of in white and I will use some of the space wolf sprue to give them runes which will either be in White/gold I also what to use a number of wolf pelts but will paint them grey/white like a snow leperod (sp)
Here is the second one.
Now these are just white and gold which I fear will look a bit boring or will require alot of work to look good. This armour will use alot more of the knightly feel with maybe each model have there own heraldy on one shoulder, to help break up the pattern.
