Since I can record Xbox Live gameplay and upload it to YouTube now, that's exactly what I've been doing recently. I lack the experience with video editing software to make them look flashy, but at least you can see me messing about on various games. Check my recent videos as I'm uploading a bunch of gameplay from last night's SF4, ACfA and COD4 sessions. To be honest I uploaded the ones that were shortest and had the most non-stop action. Armored Core for Answer isn't half as fun to watch as it is to play, so I didn't want to put people off from buying the game by uploading some long-ass battle where all we do is strafe left and right whilst shooting at each other.

By the way, I quite like how smoothly I was piloting in the blade video. Notice how I don't really bump into anything and the missiles seem to have trouble following me through the obstacles. It was a very satisfying match for me in that regard, it's rare to have a total mecha moment from start to finish.

Chris doesn't have any gaming headphones which puts him at a disadvantage against me. To add insult to injury, though Chris can handle all kinds of opponents online, he has always had trouble fighting against me in particular, and it's not as if you don't claim I'm hax half the time I kill you Matthew. ;]

Anyways, I recorded the video for Chris to watch from my perspective and hopefully learn something he didn't already know. From now on I'm avoiding any kind of matchmaking sessions in favour of private matches with people who don't actually suck incredible amounts of cock at the game. This isn't because I'm an elitist bastard, but because I wish to improve and playing with low level players makes you 'soft', where as playing with high level ones pushes you to keep going.

Since the only good players I know who play with me on a regular basis are Matthew and Chris, my network of friends will need to be extended. It's going to be tough finding gamers who are good but not assholes.

you know, it was actually usefull for me to se this, i know my mistakes and how i can improve it now thanks for the video nemph! obtw i could hear dead silence with the headset! :D it was amazing!

I posted my videos up on GameReplays' COD4 forums to get some feedback from other experienced players who play on the PC version using ProMod. The greatest thing about recording my match footage is being able to re-watch my mathes to pinpoint my mistakes and also to allow others to do the same for me. Check the topic out if you want to see what they think I need more practice on.
