I always use "in ear" phones when I listen to my ipod. I was going to buy some nice ones with noise cancelling and all that jazz. But I dont like them, I like to be able to hear the street if I am walking and listening to music.
Most of the time I only have one ear phone in, I dont know why I just get freaked out if I cant hear anything going on around me.

Hm, yeah, now that I think about it I must have spent about £2000 on random shit this month when you include things like the HDTV and what-not. I've not even ordered my Macbook Pro yet either, which is going to cost me around £2000 when you add all the accessories and crap onto it.
One of the advantages of being self-employed is that I get to pick how much I pay myself each week. If business is good, I give myself a 'bonus', if things are slow then I try to cut down on spending since I may need that money for more stock and shit.

I've had a slight mask obsession lately, looking to pick up some gas masks and shit from Ebay if possible. I wonder if I can find some of those gas masks that the Combine soldiers from Half-Life 2 use.

MemberI ordered a custom made dice bag from Marsbarn over on Etsy, she does some really lovley reversable dice bags, and as I hate dealing with the little plastic zip-lock bags I use at the moment I figured I'd send a request her way and pick something that can hold all my dice.
I also ordered the Logitech G13 from Amazon. I've considering picking up a G19 keyboard from them, but I think the G13 will suit my needs fine at around half the cost.

I found a copy of Puzzle Quest : Challenge of the Warlords for the PSP and Daxter, without the horrible platinum packaging. Still no Dissida, the only copy in town looks like the previous owner stored it in the toilet.
Also, my mate Richard picked up a PSP so that'll be at least the three of us with one at MCM.

Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood Trading Arts DX Vol. 1
This is the first volume of high quality trading figures for FMA Brotherhood. I've been wanting to get FMA figures for a while but they are either not that great quality or they're action figures which is something I personally dislike. These DX figures have much higher detail compared to the previous trading figures, they're not amazing but for £20 it's acceptable quality.The first volume includes Edward Elric, Winry Rockbell, Scar and Fuhrer King Bradley.

This gorgeous PVC statue is of Senjougahara Hitagi from the anime Bakemonogatari. I've not even watched the anime or read the light novel but the statue stands out so well, it will be a great addition to my collection. I also like the fact it's fairly tasteful compared to most other female figures on the market, which can be out-right slutty. Hitagi is going to cost me about £50 and this statue is roughly 21CM tall.

Got a new white Nintendo DS Lite for trading in all my old Xbox 360 accessories, mostly in anticipation of Pokemon Black and White but I got Heart Gold and Diamond to play in the mean time :)
Once you get a job, playing Pokémon is pretty much out of the question unless it's the only game you plan to play. I'm talking about competitive play however, but yeah I sold my copy of Platinum after joining some competitive Pokémon communities and realising how time consuming it was going to be.

MemberI cant really see it being competitive. I remember playing Red and blue against people on the gameboy and the only skill bit I could see was choosing the right pokemon and the right types.

Competitive Pokémon is all about strategy before and during a match. I CBA explaining all the details but one of the most basic tricks is to predict an opponent's Pokémon swap beforehand and swap yours to counter so that on the next turn you're still at an advantage.
Pokémon tournaments are a constantly evolving game of chess, with tier lists for all the skills and Pokémon, some being banned whilst others being too weak to use in competitive play. The amount of time it would take to understand how to counter the hundreds of skills Pokémon can use, not to mention understand how to counter the actual Pokémon themselves is why I sold my copy after a few weeks of owning it.
The simple truth is that Pokémon is a shit game to play casually in my opinion, because the story is fucking retarded (and mostly non-existent), so my only option was to try learning it competitively, but that went out of the window when I realised what I was getting into. Once you take away an RPG's story and mechanics, it's just another grindfest, might as well just go play an MMO instead.

MemberThat is a great deal. I really want to have a go at Necromunda. If you play it and like it I suggest having a look at infinity. Its the same idea of a small skimish game with 6-10 models but has a quite alot of complex rules so Necromunda would be a good starting base. Its also the first D20 game I have played.
Some people do sell warhammer really cheap, was at my grandma's last summer and there was a village carboot sale, I managed to get 30 Horrors for a fiver. It was a mix of 2ed edition pink and blue with a few of the newer ones as well. Was a great deal. I have also gotten crazy deals of ebay, you do feel a bit bad but its there fault for not researching or just being unlucky.

The Makise statue will cost around £80, this seems to be the average price for PVC statues of that size as many of my current statues also cost me around that sum. The Figmas are coming out one by one, the pink one is being released first and she will cost around £30, as is the case with all figures from the Figma line, so I imagine the other two will be around that price mark when they eventually near release too.

She's very plain in my opinion; probably the most plain figure I will have in my room. The whole school uniform with Katana combination has been done to death on so many figures over the years. As a matter of fact, I have another statue doing this exact post with a sword, I just realised it now...
Still, I'm picking her up because she is one of the very few Battle Vixens figures wich isn't completely slutty. The manga itself is echii so it's understandable, but most of the Battle Vixens figures are just too tasteless for me personally.
Anyway, the London Anime Con is coming up and I feel like rockin' some new headphones for the occasion. The thing with headphones is that the ones with great sound quality tend to look like shit for some reason, and the ones that look sick like Skullcandy just sound like shit. I hear Dr. Dre's headphones are a little on the pricey side but they look really slick and apparently sound quality is studio level.

My PC has died again, so I ordered a 15" Macbook Pro plus various accessories. The total cost of all this was about £2200. Because of work, when I got home and found my PC not powering on again, I just could not be bothered with that kind of stress again. I had the money put aside for a Macbook Pro ages ago, but was simply too lazy to place the order. Needless to say, after finding the PC in that state, I suddenly had the energy required to place the order and it should apparently arrive on 01-02 July.
The fact that my PC died during E3 might have also helped motivate me.
Fuck my life.
