HDTVs are a lot cheaper now, compared to when some of us bought them during the initial rage. I was checking the price of my HDTV online and I think it was about £150 cheaper now or something like that. I'm actually thinking about getting an LCD TV for my room so I can use my HDTV for things like 360/PS3 and the other one for old stuff like my Master System, SNES, PS1 etc.

Memberyea at Home in my Room I have two. Both are 30 something inch samsungs the first one I got for £500 when it was the new the second one I bought a few months ago and the same TV cost £375.
I have one for Sky and Xbox and the other one I use as PC monitor as I watch alot of films on my PC so I need a big screen.

Memberyeah i knew they were easy to get, i've had a 'hd-ready' big screen one in my living room since they were out too, (though no sky HD box, or components socket for 360/PS3) But this is the first time i've had a 1080p one that could actually connect properly to the 360. Seeing as you guys never said anything i assumed you didnt have it! Heh.

Well, I got some new three red rings on my Xbox 360. I've switched it on and off about five times, and it's the same result each time so I don't think this is one of those temporary red rings. I guess I'll keep trying for a day, and if it's still like this I'm going to have to officially consider it FUBAR.

And anyway, if it IS a temporary ring - it means it's related to your scart lead. Check the scart is in properly, try putting it in and out again, and also try connecting your xbox to another TV. ALl of these have worked for me in the past when my xbox got red ring, and i havn't yet had it fixed since i bought it when it came out. 3 Years and going strong baby!

Whoo, the same day I receive my Xbox coffin and dispatch it back to Microsoft I also ended up receiving my HORI fighting stick which I recently ordered from Amazon. I bought the same one which Cemboi has since after using it for a while it was quite durable and well-made. Now that I have one too, me and Cem can beat the crap out of each other on Street Fighter III even more than before.

Anyway, i just finished another jam packed day in Japan, and i finally managed to find a bookstore that sold english manga. We went last week to 'Ackhibara' street which is the famous one with all the anime/manga/games, and i mean it was literally a hundred stores lining a street as big as oxford street, all covered in anime posters from the outside, and inside just a huge amount of manga (of which for some reason the most popular colour is pink) arcade machines, games for all platforms (although favouring the Nintendo and Sony products.) and anime. What i love is the huge amount of advertising too, there were big screens outside all the shops showing of some animes and i even saw one showing of Code Geass which was cool. But like i said, everything was japanese, so even though it was great to look at it, i couldn't do anything with it. The only thing i ended up buying was a Bleach game for my PSP as all the menus were in english, and it is pretty cool.
But like i said, today i finally found an english manga store, and i picked up the first few novels for Full Metal Alchimist, Gunslinger girl, .hack, One peice and something else i forgot.

Nope, but I dropped in to let everyone know that it seems Microsoft has dispatched my Xbox today, so assuming it's express delivery I should receive it tomorrow!

MemberBought myself the new 40k rulebook, which i fancy reading in the sun about now.
Also got a 360 wireless adapter so now i can play in my room next to the PC..
As well as DBZ Burst limit, Civilization IV Complete, and the spore creature creater.
Oh, and i got one of the Green foundation paints, cause the guy said it was a new shade of green that i wouldnt have with the complete regular set. I think now i have about 6 different shades, all to be used for when i get my tyranids.
