okej so i just got OFP2 and im going to try it really soon, is any one else going to get it? if thats the case we can play the campaign CO-OP!

MemberI loved the first one for pc eventhough it was so hard and I never finished it. This one looks good, I have put it on my rental list. I would buy it but I dont see a demo and I dont buy any games now with out trying them first.

I was a big fan of the original, but apparently this one isn't by the same developers. I believe the originals developers are working on their own version called ArmA or something, I forget the name since I've not checked any gaming news since the PC went down.

Memberokej, now i played the game for like 4 hours, and weel lets say.....
The graphics are awsome, the sound is VERY GOOD and the military feeling to realism is great except one thing that ruins quite much..... your squad is so stupid! they dont follow orders they can just be crawling and not shooting back and so on... its quite annoying. i havent tried out the multi player part yet.

I could tell straight from the developer diary videos that the A.I. was going to be shit because they looked pathetic straight from day one.

The reason why I've not taken an interest in this game is because it's not made by Bohemia Interactive, who are the ones that made the original Operation Flashpoint. BI have created a new franchise called ArmA which is considered a spiritial successor to OF, so I'm more interested in checking out ArmA 2 personally.

Yeah, that's ArmA 2, and that's the sort of thing you'd expect from the original creators of OF. I'm sure OF: Dragon Rising is still an above average game, but it's trying to ride on the success of something made by a completely separate group, the only thing they share is the game's title which will make a difference in sales but not in the game's quality.

I don't know, Battlefield 2 was considered an excellent game, yet I didn't get to see this because PunkBuster kept booting me out of fucking servers all day. I'm so pro, even anti-cheat programs think I'm hacking. :[

MemberOh yea the dreaded Punkbuster I had problems with that on that future BF game cant remember the name.
I just had so many problems with Arma 2 nearly every time I went to find a NPC to start a mission or something he would just be dead at his desk for no reason. I remember a helocopter mission where I had to escot it and half way though it just fell to the ground for no reason.Posted 2 years ago # | -
LOL that's just ArmA 2's amazing realism. You go to a desk and the man behind it has already died by a heart attack. Very unlucky, but totally real, because now you have two wait a few weeks for the paperwork to be submitted and a replacement receptionist hired before you can take on new missions.
