Sony has announced the replacement for their PSP. It's currently codenamed NGP (Next Generation Portable), and is laden with impressive tech.
Sony claim it has power on a par with the PS3, and judging from the fact that Uncharted and MGS4 were running on the system, that appears to be at least mostly true.
Control wise it finally has the second analogue stick that was such a hot topic regarding the PSP. It also has both a OLED Touch screen, and a capacitive touch pad on the rear casing, so controls shouldn't be an issue this time round.
The NGP will also have 3G connectivity, as well as Wi-Fi.
Game wise the list is looking like this at the moment:
Uncharted
Killzone
WipeOut
Resistance
Monster Hunter
LittleBigPlanet
Hustle Kings
Hot Shots Golf
It will also support digital copies of PSP games.
