Sorry to hear that man, but I sure as hell hope you get it fixed up before the COD4 tournament. Like I was saying on Xbox Live the other day, anyone who misses the COD4 tournament gets removed from the team, any reasons for not turning up will just be considered a 'conveniant excuse'. Don't fret too much though, even if that happens and you're removed from the team it's not that much hassle to just re-trial to get back in.

That question is answered in the "no excuses" concerning tournament attendance. It doesn't matter who it is or why they didn't turn up, any member of the team who fails to attend the tournament is removed from the team and must re-trial (under harsher conditions) to join back in if they wish to do so. This tournament is 'srs bznis lolz' so it's important everyone who gives a shit about the clan to try their best to attend.

but how can he do anything to change the RROD... what if you get them the day before... you just gonna disband the clan...?
if he had done summat stupid like spilt a drink on it then fair play id agree about the booting process... but wen microsoft suck ultiamte balls by making a console they plan to break down its out of Jamies hands really... i js hope you schedule the tourny for after hes got it back...

It doesn't matter how out of control the excuse is, and if people will hate me for it then so be it, this is what I need to do. You guys have worst punctuality than me and as days go by people are getting more and more lazy in this clan, the only god damn teams we win against are teams that I know suck dick at videogames. This tournament will be treated as if it was the real thing, as if it was an MLG tournament with a cash prize, whatever you want to believe. I need to see who is dependable and who isn't, this tournament will show me player skill and dedication.
Let's assume Jamie was in our team for this tournament, and the team consisted of Jamie, Michael, Anthony and Kurt. Let's assume on the day of our match, after months of practice, Jamie says he got RROD. Now, we know Jamie isn't lying to us since he isn't like that, but it lets the team down regardless. So now we have to forfeit the game because Jamie's 360 died, but if Jamie was serious about this, he could pop over to his mate's house who owns a 360 and play on his account to show that he'd do it if push came to shove.
I stand by the simple rule I set; no excuses. This rule applies to me too, as all rules do.

Oh, and ignoring stupid comments like "it doesn't matter as everyone will still consider Jamie a clan member no matter what the stupid qoutes on this forum say." It's worth reminding you all once again that being removed from the team isn't as big of a deal as it used to be. Members who are removed can easily re-trial and get back in, and this will become a regular process for all but the most active members. Long story short, no need to start pointless drama over this, regardless of whether or not Jamie gets booted out or not, he can just re-trial when he wants to, simple as that.

Oh no, harsher conditions! Looks like Jamie will have to send me his CV and I will have to assess his previous work experience and school grades before considering his new application. Sorry Jamie, it seems if you get booted you're going to have an immensely difficult time getting back in, you know, because I'm really evil like that.
Seriously though, considering how piss easy it is to get accepted right now, do you honestly believe 'harsher conditions' is really going to make it that much more difficult? Harsher conditions means that Jamie needs to prove he is skilled enough and active enough to re-join the team. Now we know Jamie is already active, and we know he's not the shittiest person in the team right now, so do you honestly believe he's going to be going through hell during the re-trial process if it ever even came down to that?

So... what's the point?
"If you can't make it, you're going to be booted, but we're desperate, so you'll get back in", just seems a bit pointless.
Sorry, I'm not trying to judge your team-leading skills, as I'm nothing to do with the gaming community here; I'm just a web developer. It just seems like there's a massive loophole that you're filling with desperation, because you don't want to seem like a bastard but you can't think of anything else to do.

Memberi agree with the, "go to a mates house and play your gamertag in the tourny" cuz thats not impossible, aslong as you give jamie the time to demand a mate lets him use his 360...
and i also agree with darf abit, dint notice that fully, but smart-man-do did... hah, if you get booted then it should be made ALOT harder to get back in, and i know jamie wudnt have a problem with that, but the lesser skilled players will making the clan a stronger force...

But the thing is, if i get kicked i have to re-earn my place, even though i've been in the clan for a year and a half, and done nothing to get kicked.

Honestly I'm not going to waste time repeating what I said, there is no point even debating this with me especially when you're not even sure you'll be booted yet. How about everyone shut the fuck up and start crying IF Jamie can't get his 360 back in time, I don't need people being drama queens when nothing has taken place yet. Though I don't appreciate Dan making matters worse for me with that post, I think you guys should know by now that if I make a decision and stick with it, I have a good reason for doing so. If you think I'm wrong then I respect that too, but remember, this clan has never been a democracy.
