I saw the trailer for this when I went to see Kick-Ass, and holy crap did it grab my attention. Just wanted to post the trailer and get some opinions in case some of you have yet to hear about this film. It's got that guy from Superbad in it, and some ridiculous Dragon Ball Z shit.

Looks pretty bad. I am a bit bored of all these michael Carne films they are all the same. Ok this one looks a bit differnt because he has to fight superpower ex-boyfriends but it still looks boring. The writing in all his films is the same, he needs to play some new parts.
The artwork is done by Paul Robertson, that's the only reason I'm buying the game.
I'm a big Paul Robertson fan, been following his work for a while now.
I want to see the film first frankly, that way I won't be comparing it to the comic which is probably better than the film anyway. Besides, I have enough to deal with on the manga side of things, last thing I need sucking up my time is western comics.
I'm planning to meet up with Michael and Cemal to go see Inception tomorrow so trying to see if we can meet up earlier and watch Scott Pilgrim at the same time. If not, will have to sort something out another time to go watch this but it's definitely something I've been wanting to see.
I've not seen Inception because there's only a handful of people I can go see a movie with that aren't going to ruin the experience by acting like monkeys during the film, not because I'm too stingy with my money. I have no trouble waiting a little to see a good movie properly, and going with Michael and Cemal is a great crowd to chill with as I've not seen both in some time. Oh, I also asked Matthew to join us, he said he'd let me know what he's doing before 4PM so potential for an epic pseudo Zetzio meet-up occurring today. :]
I met up with Michael and Cemal to go see Inception but when we got there, we decided to watch Scott Pilgrim instead. It was fucking awesome, because it had kick-ass gamer references and a lot of girls I'd totally fuck. Getting this movie on Blu-ray as soon as it's out. I had a good time, the London members should meet up for movies more often damn it.

I booked online to see it, and the ticket machine printed the wrong seat booking on my tickets. I spoke to one of the assistants about it, but there was nothing he could do because I forgot to bring my booking confirmation with me. So I was sat pretty close to the front and didn't get to appreciate the full-screen experience. However, the video game references were awesome, as were the girls, as you rightly said.
Though I hate the way Hollywood makes girls look much younger than they are, because you're always disappointed when you look them up on IMDB afterwards. That Chinese girl, for example, is like 25. I wanted JB.
Damn, Knives is 25? She's fucking older than me, she's like legal jail bait I guess. I did look up Ramona on Google Images afterwards but she doesn't look as cute without her awesome hairstyle.
The fact they used Legend of Zelda music already sold me on the movie anyway.
As soon as I heard the fairy fountain theme, I gave this movie an 11/10. ;]
I've been reading the comic books and I have to say the film is very faithful to them. They've left out a few bosses to keep it short but the foundation is all there and nearly all of the conversations are replicated word for word in the film.
