    Topic title really says it all. Assuming some of you are interested in picking this game up then now is a good time. It retailed for £29.99 at launch and the price has gone down to £19.99 recently. It's worth the discounted price tag and you can check my review (http://www.zetzio.com/news/review-street-fighter-iv) if you're on the fence about the purchase.

    Play is the better choice (http://www.play.com/Games/Xbox360/4-/5816869/Street-Fighter-IV/Product.html) in my opinion since it's free delivery and 1st class as far as I'm aware. Amazon has it for the same price (http://www.amazon.co.uk/Street-Fighter-IV-Xbox-360/dp/B001FSJ9NK/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1248811348&sr=8-2) and also free delivery, but I think they charge extra for 1st class mail so you'll get it faster from Play.

    I'm looking forward to seeing which character each of you will pick as your main, with some practice I can really see Zetzio having a nice competitive environment for SF4 and fighting games in general. My only advice is that you should focus on having one main character and learn to play them well, instead of being average with everyone. Average doesn't win you any matches, only awesome does.

    I will most likely stick to ryu but I would like to try a different character. I just like ryu as I know his moves.

    Most characters use the same inputs but just have different results for entering that particular input. Learning a new character's special attacks takes a matter of seconds, it's learning how to pull off combos and similar intermediate level tricks that take a bit more time.

    Since you don't know any combos for Ryu yet, and since you have trouble executing his Ultra, your experience with Ryu isn't really too far above your experience with a character you've never played at this point. So don't be afraid to continue experimenting, there's no rush to settle down with one toon after all.

    I'm more of a Tekken/Soul Calibur guy than a Street Fighter guy, but that's not to say I didn't spend many hours of my life playing Street Fighter II.

    Ah, I used to be into Tekken and SoulCalibur, but I've grown distant from the dial-a-combo gameplay they have. I still think they're great games though, and I get the feeling that I'll some day move back towards that style for a change of pace if not anything else.

    I think they're much more party-themed games than something like Street Fighter, which doesn't allow you to get away with button-mashing in much the same way.

    Exactly, they are more suited for newbies that just want to fight and look good whilst they do. You can press B B Y X and have a combo come out in DoA for example, which just ain't gonna happen in most 2D fighters like SF, KoF and GG.

    You can do combos in DoA? I thought that game was just about boobs.

    I'm looking forward to getting SFIV though. I'm going to get an XBL subscription tonight because Ken just informed me that Big Surf Island is now available for Burnout Paradise, which I wasn't aware of. So maybe you can come and kick my ass a bit when I've got it?

    I have both games so yeah, you can kick my ass right back on Burnout if I decide to join you guys on that afterwards. I imagine SF4 will be a lot of fun now that a couple more ZTO people are getting into it. I'm going to destroy you guys at first, but I think a few of you will catch up with me if you put some practice in since I don't play the game religiously like I used to play COD4 and CS.

    Annoyingly, Play still haven't delivered my copy of SFIV. However, they have delivered my Xbox 360 controller.

    The item I got from Play Trade was delivered the day after I ordered it - which was last Saturday, which was impressive :)
