I've been considering a little competition for Street Fighter IV with a prize involved, and I've finally decided to go ahead with it. The prize in question will be a new copy of Armored Core For Answer, but only one person will be the victor in this event. This was initially going to be a tournament, but the format wasn't suitable for the number of players we have so I've decided to go with something a lot simpler.
To win, all you need to do is beat me in one match on Street Fighter IV. I am no god at SF4 so it's completely in your reach to defeat me, the question is whether or not someone will do it before you can. There's only one prize to be given away so only the first person to beat me will get it, it's a race against time to some extent.
-A match consists of a maximum of five rounds, best of five wins the match.
-A draw doesn't get you the prize, it has to be a win for you.
-Any character is playable, you can change characters as often as you please.
-If a match is too laggy, our session is cancelled until the connection is stabilised.
There is no limit as to how many times you can play me. As long as I can sign into Xbox Live, I will play you on as many matches as I can, there's no penalty when you lose, but you'll get the prize if you win. You can challenge me in any way, such as PM, MSN, Email or messages via Xbox Live. I do not have to accept your challenge all the time, I have a job after all. I will always try and accept challenges when I'm at home and able to sign into Xbox Live.
The purpose of this event is to encourage new players of SF4 to practice and give the game a chance. By playing me you slowly learn the game without losing anything (but your dignity), and if you win, you just go yourself a free game. Also, it gets one more person into the Armored Core series, since ACFA is something me and George play frequently so it would be great to see another face from Zetzio with us on it.
Any questions? Who's interested in participating out of the newbie SF4 players? You can challenge me any time starting from now, this topic signifies the start of the competition and it will go on until we have a winner, let's hope it doesn't take six years.
