Just got home from work and as expected, I have MW2 waiting for me on the other side of my front door. I'm glad Gameplay pulled through for me, else I would have been a tiny bit disappointed. So yeah, just letting the fucking world know; I got Modern Warfare 2!

Strange that yours is being delivered by RM George. I rang them up and they told me that mine is coming by courier, and it would be with me by last night or today. Didn't come yesterday, so just have to hope that he doesn't take too long today.

MemberCould be yours was sent out with the courier before they found out the strike was off and decided to go with RM. Well I am at uni now finishing an essay so wont be able to play till 4pm. Got another large package today thought it was my turtlebeach headset but was infact just more stuff from amazon.

MemberI will only be able to play from 5-6.30 today too, but hopefully the level 21 i racked up last night will sustain me in the leaderboards.
Nemphtis is fucking owning me already though. Played the MP less time than me and yet is way above me in every stat and level. To be expected though; the game is pretty much the same as the previous except for maps/weapons/perks so those who rocked at the first will rock again at the second.
I find so far that killing with the LMG's and MG's is really easier. Sniping is almost impossible with the silencer (Bullets are somewhat weaker when it's added, even with Stopping Power.) But once again the spawning is really crap on some levels.

I actually like the silenced sniper rifles, they are exactly the way I thought they would be. You sacrifice extreme range and some power to snipe enemies without being detected. I don't know about you guys, but 75% of my kills were one-shots with the silenced sniper rifle and I was still easily coming 1st in FFAs with it.
That doesn't meant it's a viable option in competitive games though. The silencer is like having a Barret from COD4 that doesn't show up on radar when you shoot. You eiher kill them in one shot, or you start laying down more fire if they're still alive after taking a hit. The advantage is that when you're prone and doing this, the enemy will have trouble finding where you're firing from.

You should try to get them to refund you your money for failing on their promise, but keep the game. Optionally just tell them you want your money back so you can buy it from Asda for £25.

MemberI eventually went out and got it from Sainsburys for £26. It never arrived from Play, and for all of last week they were insisting it was with the courier. Finally on Friday they told me that they hadn't even sent it, but they would do so and I could expect it next week. I told them to go fuck themselves and I cancelled my order, and they happily told me they would refund the money to my account by Monday morning. Suprise suprise they didn't, and when I rang them, they told me I wouldn't be able to get a refund for 21 days.
Play.com can suck my hairy nut sack.
