My 360 is locking up and giving me a green checkerboard pattern when I play a game, and sometimes giving me the RROD when I turn it on afterwards, Xbox number 2 is dead!

Welcome to the club, mine died three times so they gave me a new console. The new one hasn't died yet, but it's just a matter of time.

I have two Xboxs 360 because I got bored waiting 3 months for them to send me another. So I went brought another one that are only 125 or something for the acarde version.
So now I have 2 which is useful if one breaks and at uni so my house mates can use my spare one.

What the hell Cem, they gave you three new consoles? Are you sure they didn't just repair your console, since I've never heard of Microsoft give new console replacements three times for four breakdowns.

MemberAfter buying my first 360 of Ebay on the week of release, for like 600 quid or some shit, it lasted me 2-3 years, cant really remember. I used to laugh at people who moaned about RROD because it was an irrelevant issue to me. However one day it did decide to kick the boot, and like George i couldnt be assed to wait for it to be fixed so i went and bought an XBL arcade box and put the hardrive from my current one in it. I then sold the hardrive-less one to a mate for 60 quid because he knew how to fix RROD himself. And this one is still going strong..
