Just revealed live during the CES ’09 Microsoft keynote, the Halo Wars demo will be available for download on the 5th of February. The full game will be in stores on February 28th. The news was revealed by Robbie Bach, President of Entertainment & Devices Division. Bach did not reveal any other details regarding the game, or Halo: ODST which was also displayed behind him during his appearance. You can view both UNSC and Covenant unit/structure details on the Halo Wars website, this is well worth checking out for those of you looking forward to this release.
Update: Seems Robbie Bach made a mistake; Halo Wars is still set to release on the 03/03/09, but demo is still coming on 05/02/09.
I want it on PC. I refuse to play RTS games on a console. It’s so unnatural.

Well, it’s built from the ground up to be played on a console. But honestly, all that really means to me is that the game is going to use those ring-style menus for everything. So yeah, I assume it wouldn’t be too difficult to change the menu system and port it to PC.
I've never got into Halo myself. I've heard many good things about it but I'm more into games like FIFA and COD!
It does look pretty good though! I agree with Darfuria, RTS on consoles are awkward and ard to play.
