As some of you may or may not know, I’m quite a Killzone enthusiast. The first Killzone was pretty generic in the eyes of many, but I still played through the game several times and enjoyed messing about on the multiplayer back when the PS2 was king. So it comes as no surprise that I follow up on Killzone 2, and man am I excited every time I watch multiplayer beta gameplay.
Check the full post to see three gameplay videos of the multiplayer beta and see if Killzone 2 will replace Resistance 2 as the PlayStation 3’s most popular online shooter. Oh and yeah, the person playing in the videos is awful but try your best to ignore that fact.

I played Killzone 1 can could not understand the hype I thought it was a awful shooter. It got around 60% in most reviews.
My Friend has a PS3 and carries on telling me how good it will be.
From the videos it looks like a good shooter but not the Best FPS every like alot of people are saying.

The first Killzone was average at best, and it was not the Halo killer that some claimed it to be. Still, I like the Killzone universe and the Hellghast were really cool.
I’m hoping Killzone 2 will be a big improvement over the original, and multiplayer actually looks like something I would consider playing in a clan.
The videos give off a great feeling of actual urban combat. Maybe it’s just me but the atmosphere looks great, though this doesn’t always translate into good map design so we’ll have to wait and see.
