Hideo Kojima really knows how to fuck with me, because now I’m crossing my fingers in the hope that what I’ve seen in this trailer actually comes true in the final product. Perhaps the reason Kojima once said that MGS4 was having trouble fitting on a Blu-Ray disc was due to him trying to cram a Metal Gear Solid remake into the package. Hey, I can dream right?
I’ve never played a MGS game, so the prospect of a remake fitted in with MGS4 doesn’t excite me much.
I’ll have topick up a copy of a MGS game and give it a go.
If you have a PS2, Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty would be the best choice. However, for the best results I recommend playing Metal Gear Solid (PS1 or GC) as it’s the first in the series.
