I like Steam because it’s the closest thing to Xbox Live you can find on the PC, and I’m not counting Games for Windows Live because that’s still too unfamiliar in my opinion. I like having all my games listed in one place, and having a friend list that I can access with a few key presses. That’s why I’m pretty happy to see that my latest Steam update has given me an in-game web browser to mess around with on top of all that. As you can see from my screenshot which is totally not trying to advertise my blog, I’m sure I’ll be using this instead of minimising my game windows to quickly check information on Wowhead while playing World of Warcraft for example. So, launch your Steam client and go to ‘File > Check for Steam client updates…’ and enjoy the luxury of pornography while you wait for that god damn respawn timer to hit zero so you can fix your awful kill/death ratio.
