This is a game I’ve been meaning to pick up but completely forgot about, what with all these AAA games coming out. As if Audiosurf wasn’t already a pretty good bargain, Steam are now selling it for £1.93. If you’re planning on picking it up, do it quick because the offer is only for this week!
In case some of you aren’t familiar with the game, it’s a puzzle/rhythm hybrid where players collect blocks which are in sync with the music being played. You can load up any of your tracks and the level will change, so as long as you have new songs the game will always have new levels.
It’s not every day you get to find a game which has a MetaCritic score of 85 sold for this kind of price, so pick it up and you (probably) won’t be disappointed. I’ve embedded a quick gameplay video after the jump for those who need more than words to be persuaded.
