I really, really need to get around to playing Fallout 3 but I’m just too tied up with other games. Still, all this DLC is not helping my patience at all. Broken Steel will remove Fallout 3′s ending so that you can continue blowing off people’s faces without the need for closure. The level cap will be raised to LV30 plus a new area to explore alongside new weapons, enemies and abilities. You can get all this for 800 points, which seems fair if the DLC offers what it’s promising.
Fallout: New Vegas will be a “non-sequel” by Obsidian Entertainment, who is best known for Neverwinter Night and Knights of the Old Republic. I’m going to take a guess and assume it’ll be based in Vegas, but the only real pieces of information I know so far is that it’s not a direct sequel and that it’ll play a lot like Bethesda Softworks’ Fallout 3 in terms of gameplay. Obsidian is aiming for a 2010 release on PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and PC.
